Barry County Man Killed In Crash

A Purdy man is dead following a wreck in Newton county. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Richard Harris was heading westbound on County Rd. DD southeast of Seneca when he drove off the right hand side of the roadway where his propane tank overturned. He was pronounced dead at the scene. It is the first fatality of 2009 for the Troop D Headquarters. Mr. Harris was 45 years old.
