If you would have stopped in at Patton Alley Pub this evening around 7 p.m., you would have discovered an incredibly rowdy group of people laughing it up. A couple of tables over from them sat a group of mostly strangers. One thing brought them to the table (and for some of them, a small one at that): their blogs.
They were representatives of approximately a dozen blogs or so at tonight's Blogger Association Blogaroni Awards. This was the first chance that Donna and I had to meet the wizards behind many great local blogs. We came away happy with our decision to attend and hope to do it again next year.
You will notice some new blogs showing up on the Blog Roll over the course of the next few days. These are blogs that we discovered by attending the awards tonight. Please do check out Simple Thoughts of A Complex Mind for the results that will be posted soon and Ozark Photos for a glimpse at the crew that gathered together this evening.
Thanks to Larry Litle for organizing it all. And thanks to all of the bloggers who post when you get the chance. It is a pleasure reading each and every one of them.
