Monett McDonald's On Fire

UPDATE:

(It appears that the fire started in the kitchen. The building is likely a total loss. )

Fast food restaurant McDonald's caught on fire around 2 p.m. this afternoon and nearby businesses have been evacuated as a result of the fire. It looks as if much of the building may be a complete loss. Here are some pictures I snapped of the fire.

Get Ready For Some Snow

The link below is from the National Weather Service in Springfield. A disturbance will track across the area tonight bringing snow back to the western and southern sections of Missouri. It looks like many areas will see at least an inch in the Springfield metro, with the potential for maybe four inches or so around Lamar, Nevada, and Stockton.
An even bigger system may impact the region Wednesday and Thursday!

Good morning! I am probably the 8,087,545th person you have heard say this but I am going to say it anyway -- HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope that 2010 is a great year for you. I have a feeling it is going to be a year of positive change in my life. I hope to share some of those moments on the blog.
