HA!

I can hear it now. Another four years of that laugh that I love to imitate just to annoy my friends and family. MSNBC has renewed Chris Matthews' contract for another four years. There had been rumors swirling around that he was planning a run for the Senate, but apparently his plans have changed.

The New York Times reports that Chris Matthews' previous salary had been a mere $5 million a year. No word on how much the latest deal cost the cable news channel.

Matthews is the anchor of MSNBC's primetime political show Hardball. He has drawn sharp criticism by many, especially during the last election, for his apparent man love for Obama. It looks as if Mr. Matthews will get to anchor through Obama's reelection campaign if the details found in The Times article are correct.
